Episode 45 – Taking This to the Next Level

After an almost 5 month hiatus, we at 1d4Cast come back strong with all of the crew on this episode. We start with some light talk about 1d4Con 2018 (held April 13-15), drop the date for 1d4Con 2019, read a comment sent to us by Russ, and plug a few things until we reach our main topic. Different ways to “Level” or “Advance” in roleplaying games. Check out our discussion and send us any feedback you may have:

Episode 19 – Aneurysms and Crocodiles

Hello everyone!

My baby boy, Elijah, was born on 10/10/2013. Due to this, I am forced to take a small break away from podcasting to be with my little one.

However; the 1d4cast crew, along with special guest Henry, got together to bring you our Halloween episode. The topic for discussion is monsters and let me tell you that there is some solid content in this episode. They talk about what scares them and their comfort levels, favorite monsters to use against the players, favorite monsters or situations to encounter, and favorite monster races to play as when the option is available. We also have more feedback mail to read from Zac about our “A Closer Look At Skills” episode.

If you have any comments, feedback, system you want us to talk about, or even a topic you want us to discuss; either leave a comment on this episode’s post, send us an email, or use our Contact Page! You can also post to our Facebook Community and/or Google+ Community You can even leave us feedback on Stitcher Radio, iTunes, or event Google Play Music! A Closer Look At… Skill Use

Here is a new ACLS episode where we tackle how different systems use skills. This is not a comprehensive list of systems, but it is a very diverse one, covering both traditional games and indie games. It’s always interesting to see not only how the use of skills evolve through editions but between games as well.

Also, we have some news to share and we apologize if there is any interruption to the feed.

We’d love to hear from you and will read your message on the next episode!

Have a listen!
