Episode 47 – Gaming the Headlines

Happy 8 years everyone!

Holy cow, how did we ever make it this far? Will we be around for the 9th? We know it’s not consistent. We don’t post an episode every week, every other week, or even every month as we had originally intended. Thank you for your continuous listening over the years. This episode, we take a suggestion from David H. and scoured the internet for headlines (original dates of headlines didn’t really matter.) and turn them into game plot ideas. Trust me the hilarity ensues in this episode. Check out our discussion and send us any feedback you may have:

This episode was recorded on 8/13/2018 using Mumble and edited in Audacity. We used Levelator to level and normalize the audio before editing. This show has been minimally edited to remove a few gaps of silence and fix some quality issues here and there. He have some issues with Henry’s mic popping and all audio was recorded into a single track rather than each cast member getting their own track. It was an oversight, which makes this hard to edit. In light of that, here is a very unedited/unpolished episode.

Don’t forget to check out our 1d4cast Actual Play Episodes in iTunes, they are on a separate feed. Look for V20 – Session 5 (the finale and still in editing stages, had to start over due to losing the project files) and other APs to come. We are set to record some World Wide Wrestling this Saturday.

The Background music is Plastic Submarine, courtesy of The Grammar Club. Visit their Patreon page for this song and more!

Thank you for listening! We hope you enjoy this episode.

This episode was recorded on 12/18/2017 using Mumble and edited in Audacity. There is a little bit of a quality issue with Steve’s mic that I was unable to correct. He sounds like he’s on the toilet. We used Levelator to level and normalize the audio before editing in Audacity. This show has been minimally edited to remove a few gaps of silence and fix some quality issues here and there.

Don’t forget to check out our 1d4cast Actual Play Episodes in iTunes, they are on a separate feed. Hoping to add more AP content soon.

This episode was recorded on 11/20/2017 using Mumble and edited in Audacity. There is a little bit of a quality issue with some weird pops and noises around Monica’s and Steve’s mics that I was unable to completely remove. We used Levelator to level and normalize the audio before editing in Audacity. This show has been minimally edited to remove a few gaps of silence and fix some quality issues here and there.

This episode was recorded on 6/26/2017 using Mumble and edited in Audacity. Due to a system meltdown after updating to Windows 10 “Creator’s Update”, James’ laptop took a huge dump, so we were unable to record originally on 6/19/2017. Anyway, there is a little bit of a quality issue with some weird pops and noises around Monica’s and Henry’s mics that I was unable to completely remove. We used Levelator to level and normalize the audio after editing in Audacity. This show has been minimally edited to remove a few gaps of silence and fix some quality issues here and there.

This episode was recorded on 5/15/2017 using G+ Hangouts and recorded by routing the sound through a mixer and into Audacity. There is a little bit of a quality issue with this episode as there are some weird pops and noises around Monica’s and Henry’s mics that I was unable to completely remove.
