Episode 28 – Getting A Clue

Hey! We aren’t dead…. yet!

We do apologize for the long hiatus, as Conventions (planning and executing) and Life in general have gotten in the way of, and eaten our podcasting time away.

In this episode, we talk a little bit about 1d4Con 2015, John got married the weekend after, and James (me) is having twins! We also talk about the “Favorite Game” Contest and announce our two winners: Zac C. and Moe T.

The episode’s main topic is all about GUMSHOE, written by Robin D. Laws, expanded upon by many great writers/developers (Ken Hite, Kevin Kulp, David Allsop, Jason Morningstar, Graham Walmsley, Gareth Rider-Hanrahan, and many more), and published/distributed by Pelgrane Press. We have a discussion about some of the game system’s mechanics and the many flavors/varieties that it is available in.

We hope that you enjoy the show.

We want to encourage you to play all of the games! Set some gaming goals for yourself and explore new systems!

We are running a contest that will land one (or two if we get a lot of submissions!) lucky person with a $10 gift certificate to DriveThruRPG. Just leave us a comment or send us an email and let us know what your favorite game is and why.
